Depression is a mood disorder and can cause persistent feelings of sadness and loss of interest. It affects everything about an individual, how they feel, think and behave and can cause physical, emotional and psychological difficulties, and sometimes such feelings and thoughts can lead to people feeling that ‘life is just not worth living’.
